Nye medlemmer udpeget til Rådet for Teknologi og Innovation
Videnskabsminister Helge Sander har udnævnt seks nye medlemmer til Rådet for Teknologi og Innovation og genudnævnt tre andre, blandt andet administrerende direktør Lars Mikkelgaard-Jensen, der fortsætter som formand for rådet.

Antallet af danske computere overstiger antallet af danskere
Allerede i 2009 ventes antallet af computere i Danmark at være så højt, at hver dansker i gennemsnit ejer mere end en.

RTX sælger datterselskab
RTX Telecom har fredag indgået aftale om salg af det 100 %-ejede datterselskab RTX Healthcare pr. 27. juni 2008 til en af verdens førende leverandører inden for telehealth løsninger.

Samlet trådløs energistyring vil gavne både pengepungen og miljøet
I dag er der ingen fælles standard for de forskellige trådløse teknologier, man kan installere i sit hjem for at styre energiforbruget. I august starter Alexandra Instituttet og Center for Indlejrede Software Systemer (CISS) et projekt med det mål at give brugeren én central kontrolenhed til at styre forbruget. Det vil give store besparelser og gavne miljøet.

Siemens vil fyre 15.000

Intelligent Systems fejrer godt regnskab med to måneders ekstra løn
Medarbejderne hos Intelligent Systems får del i virksomhedens succes. Den jyske software-virksomhed har nemlig indført en bonusordning baseret på overskudsdeling. Det gør, at medarbejdere, der har været ansat hele 2007, får en bonus, der svarer til to måneders ekstra løn.

Alt udsolgt til Automatik 2008
Automatik 2008 melder alt udsolgt. I alt 142 virksomheder har sikret sig en plads i Brøndby Hallen, og det er 23 flere end i 2006, hvor konferenceudstillingen fandt sted sidste gang. Automatik 2008 løber af stablen 2.-4. september.

Prevas udvikler supercomputer for DTU
Danskere bag udviklingen af verdens største realtime supercomputer, der skal sikre, at diagnosticering af blodpropper og andre hjertesygdomme kan foretages uden indgreb.
