Ny Nokia-fabrik i Rumænien

Glødepæren afløses af LED
Et dansk erhvervseventyr er i sigte. Forskning på Risø har resulteret i en ny teknologi, hvor blandede farvede dioder giver et hvidt lys. Glødepærens afløser er dermed inden for rækkevidde, så snart prisen på LED-lys kommer ned i et acceptabelt niveau.

Danmarkspremiere på ny telematikløsning
De unikke og driftssikre SUNIT-computere er specielt designet til sikre og intelligente telematikløsninger til beredskabskøretøjer, renovationskøretøjer og lastbiler i international trafik. Sony modtager fornem EU-pris for energibesparende produkter
Europakommissionen belønner Sony med en fornem pris for selskabets arbejde med at udvikle nye teknologier med lavt energiforbrug. Sonys energibesparende BRAVIA tv har været med til at få prisen i hus.

Topsil i topform
Topsil har i 2006 realiseret det bedste resultat nogensinde. Underskuddet på 7,1 mio. kr. i 2005 er vendt til et stort plus på 28,1 mio. kr. i 2006.

Ericsson Danmark går tilbage
Ericssons danske forretning er gået tilbage. I 2006 faldt nettoomsætningen 11 pct. i forhold til året før og nåede dermed det laveste niveau i fem år.

Svagt marked tvinger SanDisk til at fyre 250 ansatte
SanDisk, der er verden største producent af flash-kort til bl.a. digitalkameraer er hårdt ramt af faldende priser. Derfor måtte koncernen fredag meddele, at medarbejderstaben i løbet af den kommende måneds tid reduceres med 10 procent.

Verdens bedste mobiltelefoner er blevet kåret på den årlige mobilmesse 3GSM World Congress i Barcelona. Samsung, Ericsson og Motorola vandt i hver sin kategori.

Hverken Fujitsu Siemens eller Netkoncept fik statens milliardordre af pc’er. De to blev mistænkt for ulovligt at have koordineret sine tilbud, men Konkurrencestyrelsen vælger nu at lade sagen ligge.

APC har succes med nyt koncept for outsourcing af EMS
APC arbejdede indtil for ca. 1½ år siden med helt konventionelt at tilbyde outsourcing af elektronikproduktion, EMS, til fast underleverandør fra Fjernøsten. Kunderne fik produceret deres printkort i et antal fra nogle få hundrede stk. og opefter.

EU sender milliard-bøde til 10 firmaer
10 firmaer, som fremstiller el-udstyr, kan se frem til at modtage en stor bøde fra EU's konkurrencemyndigheder. Firmaer beskyldes for at indgået aftaler om prisen på deres produkter.

Den hollandske elektronikkoncern Royal Philips Electronics er atter ovenpå, viser det seneste kvartalsregnskab. Fjerde kvartal gav et overskud på 680 mio. euro.

TDC sælger mobilselskabet Bité
TDC har besluttet at sælge sit 100 pct. ejede baltiske mobilselskab Bité til den central- og østeuropæiske private kapitalfond Mid Europa Partners for 0,45 mio. euro, svarende til 3,4 mia. kr.
