Ny teknologi indtager Banedanmark
Banedanmark er ved at skifte master rundt omkring i landet. Det digitale radiosystem GSM-R skal udelukkende bruges i forbindelse med jernbanedriften. En udskiftning der også betyder opførelse af nye master.

Superpincet - vejen frem for kvantecomputere
Et forskerteam bestående af fysikere fra Aarhus Universitet og Max Planck Instituttet i München er hjernerne bag en yderst præcis pincet, der kan tage atomer ét for ét.

Atea køber SCT A/S
Atea har købt SCT A/S, der er en specialiseret leverandør af storage og backup-løsninger. Med købet af SCT opretter Atea samtidig en helt ny enhed, Atea Server & Storage Solutions, der samler Ateas mange kompetencer inden for server, storage, backup og arkiveringsløsninger.

GE vil have en bid af offshore-markedet
Amerikanske General Electric vil ikke lade Siemens og Vestas dele markedet for offshore-vindmøller. En ny 4 megawatt mølle skal sørge for, at GE får fodfæste på markedet.

Fujitsu Danmark får ny direktør. Peter Krogsgaard er ny administrerende direktør i Fujitsu Danmark per 1. juni 2011.

Amerikansk firma vil producere elbiler i Danmark

DTU udvikler verdens hurtigste chip
For andet år i træk er det lykkedes DTU Fotonik at få postdeadline papers accepteret til verdens største konference for optisk kommunikation: The Conference on Optical Fiber Communication.

Delta i hastig vækst
Sidste år åbnede Delta afdeling i Århus. Nu er turen kommet til Sønderborg, hvor det lokale Center for Software Innovation (CSI) bliver en del af Delta – og brohoved til såvel den syddanske som nordtyske region.
