The new TLRH power shunt developed by KOA is now available in the sizes 2512 inch with a power rating of 2W, 2010 inch with 1W power rating and 0805 with 250 mW power rating at distributor Rutronik. Its enhanced power rating is the result of the sandwich construction. The metal plate carrier laminated on top of the resistive layer acts as an efficient heat sink and avoids hot spots. The excellent heat conduction allows for a high rated temperature at the solder joints of +105°C. The operating temperature range extends to +170°C. The resistance range covers 22 milliohm up to 250 milliohm for package size 2010, up to 150 milliohm for size 2512 and up to 100 milliohm for size 0805. The TLRH offers a low TCR of ±50 ppm/K and ±1% initial tolerance.
