For the first time, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH will hold a series of online seminars on the topic radio technology. During the one-hour webinars, renowned wireless manufacturers will present their latest products and technologies.
Rutronik’s franchise partners will focus on different applications and
possible uses. The seminar series consists of six different online
seminars, which are to take place in April and May.

In the past few years, Rutronik has continuously extended and improved the
technical support for its wireless customers. Rutronik has established its
own Wireless Development Centre enabling it to offer even more support for
design-in by Field Application Engineers and Product Managers throughout
Europe. Following the successful organisation of the radio technology
seminar series last year, Rutronik is to offer an online wireless seminar
series this year. In joint co-operation with the manufacturers’ application
engineers from Telit, Infineon, Nordic Semiconductors and Fastrax, the
distributor will give an insight into various wireless topics. These range
from the principles of the script language Python, combined UHF
transmitters and microcontrollers as well as ultra-low power transceivers,
to the next generation of GPS receiver modules.

Participation in the seminars is free of charge and not binding. After
registration at www.rutronik.com/events, the participants will receive the
access data automatically by e-mail. All webinars will be held in English.
All that is required for attending the webinars is access to the Internet
and a phone.

Dates & Topics in Detail:

April 22, 10 am (CET) / 9 am (UTC) Telit: Python Script for GSM
applications: A Telit FAE will present the basic commands and the structure
of the script language Python. This programming language can be used inside the Telit GSM modules instead of an external microcontroller and memory.

April 22, 2pm (CET) / 1pm (UTC) Telit: PRO³ - DualCore microcontroller
platform for GSM applications: A Telit FAE will explain the internal
structure of the PRO³ module, as well as the advantages in certain
applications. Features and additional expansion modules of this platform
transform the GSM microcontroller platform into a powerful communication hub.

May 5, 10am (CET) / 9am (UTC) Infineon: PMA71xx –Combined UHF transmitter and microcontroller – single chip remote control and wireless sensor: Infineon will present the new PMA71xx series, show application examples and explain the development environment.

May 7, 10am (CET) / 9am (UTC) Nordic Semiconductors: 2,4GHz Ultra-Low-Power Transceiver Family: Nordic Semiconductors will present the new nRF24L01 + transceiver core and the corresponding nRF24LE1 and nRF24LU1+ siblings with integrated microcontroller, USB, or analog-digital-converters and flash memory.

May 11, 10am (CET) / 9am (UTC) Fastrax: Next Generation GPS-Receiver
Modules: The GPS expert Fastrax will present its complete portfolio,
including the new IT500, which is based on a MediaTek chipset, similar to
the UP500 antenna module. Further improvements in the 300-series will also
be discussed.

May 13, 10am (CET) / 9am (UTC) Telit: UHF Wireless Modules and Network
Protocols: Telit will present the new portfolio of 433/868/915MHz modules
highlighting all available protocols. The portfolio is completed by a
2,4GHz ZigBee module.
